2024 Virtual Cinema

You can watch some films in the 2024 BIFF program at home on our Eventive Virtual Cinema platform. All Virtual Cinema screenings are $18 and will be available for pre-order beginning on Feb 10. Most films on BIFF at Home Virtual Cinema will be available from March 4 – 17, but select films will have a shorter screening window. And some films will limit the number of viewings, so order early. Grab your well- worn sweats and BIFF at Home!

All films will be available throughout Colorado, but certain films will be available for viewing within the USA.

Tickets for virtual screenings are $18.

Passes include access to four virtual screenings, and pass-holders are still required to register for virtual films.

Once you click ‘watch now’ you will have 24 hours to finish watching it.

In 1938, young Franz’s country, Austria, was taken over by Hitler, and Franz (the great-grandfather of this film’s director) was conscripted into the German army as a motorcycle courier. Early in the war, he finds a wounded fox cub and looks after the animal as if it were his own child.. Through his unique friendship with the fox, his own past as an outcast farmer’s son slowly catches up with him as the two begin a dangerous journey.
