COVID-19 Safety Information - Boulder International Film Festival

COVID-19 Safety Information

The Boulder International Film Festival is preparing a live event experience so that all individuals onsite – attendees, speakers, staff and venue personnel – remain safe and comfortable throughout the event. We’re facilitating measures that will ensure optimal health and sanitary conditions in all environments where in-person interaction takes place. We are monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and in communication with our partners at the Boulder Health Department, the Boulder Police Department, the State of Colorado, national authorities, and the CDC..

Duty of Care

The Boulder International Film Festival considers the safety of all those onsite as our top priority. Our Duty of Care is a living document that will continue to evolve, incorporating innovative features that will further enhance the onsite experience and safety for everyone in attendance.

Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination required prior to attending in-person films and events. We will be following safety guidelines that are in place at Festival venues and from state and local government at the time of BIFF.

By attending the Boulder International Film Festival in Boulder, CO, between March 3-6, 2022, you agree to abide by and engage in certain health-and-safety-beneficial conduct while attending the event.

Masks & Vaccine Requirements

The Boulder International Film will follow all masking mandates set forth by the County of Boulder and State of Colorado as well as our individual film and event venues.

All BIFF Patrons, staff, and volunteers must show proof of full vaccination with a valid photo ID.We highly encourage patrons to have their vaccination status checked and proof-of-vaccine event wristband issued before attending your first event.

Proof of full vaccination and photo ID can be shown at both our Festival Box Office at 1303 Pearl Street at the Visitors Information Center and at Festival Registration at 1426 Pearl Street (Days and Hours Below). Once vaccine status is confirmed, a wristband will be issued to be worn for the entirety of the festival to gain access to ALL venues. To ensure adequate time for an immune response to occur, a person is considered “fully vaccinated” 2 weeks after the completion of a 2-dose mRNA series or one dose of a J & J vaccine. To attend BIFF 2022, this means your last dose must be done before February 16th, 2022. “Proof” can be shown as either: original documents (vaccination card/photo ID), digital photos of documents, photocopies of documents, or verified mobile app.
