$avvy investigates the historical, cultural and societal norms around women and money. With incisive humor and captivating honesty, $avvy questions why women often take a back seat in managing finances and why it’s so important, now more than ever, for women, minorities and the LGBTQ community to take control of their financial futures.

From Kim A. Snyder, director of Newtown. Sparked by the plague of gun violence ravaging schools, Us Kids chronicles the March for Our Lives movement over the course of several years. We follow Emma Gonzalez, Samantha Fuentes, its co-founders, survivors and a group of teenage activists as they pull off the largest youth protest in American history. The activists set out across the country and around the world to build an inclusive and unprecedented youth movement that addresses racial justice and a growing public health crisis — and shock a political system into change.

DIRECTED BY KIM A. SNYDER

& ACTIVIST SAMANTHA FUENTES IN PERSON

This film is the story of America’s youth taking on the world’s most powerful government. Since 2015, 21 plaintiffs, now ages 13 to 24, have been suing the U.S. government for violating their constitutional rights to life, liberty, personal safety and property through its willful actions in creating the climate crisis they will inherit. But this documentary is about more than just a lawsuit. This is a revolution designed to hold those in power accountable for the past and responsible for a sustainable future. And many of the movement’s leaders aren’t even old enough to vote. (Yet.)
