Chef Linda Hampsten Fox

Linda was born in New Jersey, Linda moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado in Boulder at age 17. After working in the restaurant industry and owning her own catering business in Boulder, she moved to Europe for twelve years, perfecting her craft while apprenticing in Switzerland, Italy and France. Returning to Colorado in 2002, Linda spent the next years working with private clients such as Dr. Jane Goodall, actor Michael York, and Nancy Pelosi. She helped to create a cooking school in San Jose del Cabo and has worked to support various local foundations through her culinary
expertise.

Linda recently cooked at The Great Chefs of the West for The National Kidney Foundation and will be part of Heritage Fire during the Aspen Food and Wine Festival. Her first cookbook, a collection of recipes from her mother’s kitchen, to the hills of Tuscany, into the hearth of the Bindery’s ovens, will be available at the end of the summer.
