Indigenous Reciprocity Initiative: Indigenous communities across the globe have connected with and cultivated relationships with ancestral medicines since time immemorial. Psychoactive medicines are an integral part of many ancestral traditions, their relationships are profound avenues for healing, ceremony, and wisdom-keeping. What some people now refer to as “psychedelics” originates from these traditions and cultures.Modernity has brought this ancestral knowledge into the mainstream, often without the acknowledgment or reciprocity owed to its original stewards. Engaging with these medicines in therapeutic or non-traditional settings requires a deep understanding of their historical and cultural significance, as well as a commitment to reciprocity and respect.Blessings of the Forest – supports environmental and traditional associations, indigenous communities and administrative authorities committed to the preservation and sustainable development of Gabon’s natural and cultural heritage: https://blessingsoftheforest.org/

First Nations Documents on Master Plants: The appropriation and commercialization of sacred medicines and Indigenous traditions have led Indigenous communities across Turtle Island, Anahuac, and Abya Yala to unite in response. This site shares the public statements of the communities that have spoken, as to amplify their voices. Please listen, reflect, share, and take action to support their vision in protecting the sacred. https://www.fndmp.com/

Colorado Community Engagement: Nowak Society – this 501(c)(3) non-profit (not vet specific) has a mission to connect and organize psychedelic communities and give voice to the essential values and pressing issues of the psychedelic movement.
