BIFF Adventure Film Program - Boulder International Film Festival

Adventure Film Program

The Adventure Film Program (AFP) is a cornerstone of the Boulder International Film Festival and continues the region’s long-running tradition of celebrating bold, human-powered storytelling on screen. AFP brings together gritty adventure stories, conservation-driven films, and remarkable feats from around the world. Audiences can expect everything from climbing, cycling, and water sports to environmental storytelling and films that explore resilience, access, and new perspectives on the outdoors.

And the celebration doesn’t stop when the credits roll. Join us at the Adventure Film Party on Friday, April 10, from 9pm–midnight at Velvet Elk Lounge (2037 13th St.). Free with an Adventure Film Pass, BIFF Pass, or ticket stub, the party features a complimentary drink, late-night bites from The Post, music by DJ TAC, and chances to win prizes from AFP partners. It’s the perfect place to meet filmmakers, connect with fellow adventurers, and celebrate Boulder’s vibrant outdoor community. Space is limited, so arrive early.
