The Adventure Film Program (AFP) is a cornerstone of the Boulder International Film Festival, and the continuation of a long-running adventure film legacy that found its home at BIFF.

AFP brings together gritty adventure stories, conservation-driven films, and human-powered feats from around the world. You’ll see everything from climbing, cycling, and water sports to environmental storytelling and films that explore resilience, access, and the outdoors through new perspectives.

Just as important as what’s on screen is what happens around it: filmmaker conversations, Call2Action panels, community partner activations, and a crowd that ranges from longtime BIFF passholders to climbers, paddlers, skiers, and outdoor lovers looking to be inspired.
