Upon checking in, confirm your email and phone number on the registration sheet and sign-in. You will be provided with your credentials, t-shirt, and two BIFF 2012 Special Ticket Vouchers. IMPORTANT – You must be listed on the volunteer registration list before you will be provided your credentials (and be permitted to volunteer at BIFF events).

While all positions are currently filled, here are the descriptions of the usual volunteer positions available:
Stage Managers - Help with stage production! Assists the venue stage manager on operational issues; Interacts with house manager, sound, lighting, and projectionist; Lifting may be required to accommodate stage changes during programs.
Venue Management - Be part of the action! Ushering, ticket taking, and general management of the venue; Works all venues Boulder High, Boulder Theater, First United Methodist Church and the Boulder Public Library; Support People’s Choice Award Program.
Event Management - Party like a rockstar! Help needed for Opening Night Gala, Filmmakers Lounge, BIFF After Dark Party and Closing Night Awards; Security; Green Room; Opportunities at the Front of the House and the Back of the House; Catering setup, food runners, butler passing, clearing and clean-up.
Information Booth/Tent - Guide our guests! Located between 13th and 14th on Pearl; Answer questions about the Festival and assist the Call2Action activities.
Merchandise - Sell BIFF! Sell BIFF merchandise; Sales points at Boulder Theater and Information Tent; Have to be able to handle cash and credit card transactions.
Distribution - Extra, extra, read all about it! Distribute programs to current locations; Help locate new distribution points; Most of the work completed before the Festival.
Digital Communications - Be a Commandos! Reporting and editing stories about films, filmmakers and guests before and during the Festival; Photography and video of BIFF events; Social media station-masters who will review and post content and informational updates during Festival; Superior organizational and multitasking skills, and an ability to produce content under extreme pressure and impossible deadlines is essential!
Production Assistant - Float among the stars! Maintain the central communications; Track, charge, distribute radios; Movement and staging of equipment; Maintaining Festival Tent; Assisting with set-up and strike of venues; Timely distribution of Will Call lists; Distribution of lunches and refreshments.
Registration - Get it started! Based at the St. Julien;Get filmmakers and volunteers checked-in for the Festival.
